Rush's first few albums don't interest me much. I've owned them but don't have them now. The earliest one I now own is 2112. Likewise, the earliest Pink Floyd album I have is Meddle.
Any great artists whose first album didn't do much for you?
I was inspired by a thread on great first albums, so what about not so great ones? For example, if not for Brown Eyed Girl, I wouldn’t say Van Morrison is blowing my mind on his first. Dylan, for sure, didn’t come into his own until "Freewheelin’" his second. Wondering if anyone else has a favorite artist who stumbled out of the gate.
