Barenaked Ladies

Which are their best albums?

Wife had Barenaked Holidays and after a bit of research I purchased and just listened to Gordon (1992). Wonderful music. Terrific recording. Some of the best recorded male voices I've heard on my system.

Help me pick out a couple more...Chris

in my opinion one of their best/funniest songs ever is "McDonald's Girl". It never made it on to an album(probably for obvious reasons). i have seen them perform it live but it was years ago, before they made it real big, when they were playing bars and such. They haven't performed it at more recent shows that i've been to.

i have it on my computer- originally taped off of a toronto radio station. Sound quality is pretty bad, but its still fun to listen to.

Contact me thru my user name and maybe I can email it to you, if you want
Maroon is my fav. Their live album is good for beginners to get a taste of many great songs, but the studio versions are mostly better. Cheers,
Spencer
I am a BNL fan and think Gordon is a high point but I also like 'Born on a Pirate Ship'. The sonics on that recording are even better than Gordon. If you get the chance to see them live, do it. Fun time and the 'ladies' definetly have their chops refined.
