Battery overheated

I have Asus zen max pro set which has wonderful battery backup which gives the best battery standby time but it gets overheated fast to using it for a long time. I have contacted Asus laptop battery replacement but they told me that there is no way to fix this problem. Can anyone suggest me what should do in this case?
