Best CD lens cleaner


Any suggestions to occasionnaly clean CD lens with a special CD ( some are with small hair brushes)

Best? I don’t know about that. I use an RCA/discwasher dry laser lens cleaner. Seems to do the job okay (has tiny brushes on one side). Amazon has something like it (if not identical).  The price, however, seems way higher than what I spent for it at an audio shop several years ago.

I cannot explain why but honestly run one through your car CD player after its spun a few hundred discs in a pretty harsh environment, especially if you smoke, or drive windows down and you may find it playing with less skipping and tracking errors.
That's about only difference I ever noticed with mine,can't say as made any change I could tell in the house units.
I use one on my home CD player whenever it acts wonky or has playing issues.  Fixes it right up.  Why would you not want to use one?  Similar to a cleaning a camera lens.  I use the Maxell version with the small brush.-John
