When you see a CD that is a compilation and/or best of artists, are those the same exact tracks the artists released for original hits? I know there can be several "takes" in recording studio so not sure if best of equal same as original hit.
Most-likely no. Every released record has it's own 'master' who put tracks together. In case of compilation it's master 'A' and in case of album it's another master.
