I am curious about Bi-amping, and this may be a silly question. The amplifiers to be used should have their own volume control? Most of the stereo amps I have looked at do not have this ... I thought the set up would be one preamp feeding two amps with each dedicated to either the high or or the lows. How does one influence either amp if both are controlled by the pre?That's one reason to use an active crossover.
