Can I do better then my Lampizator Gen 4 Level 4?

One thing that I have found is that digital products can become boat anchors in a hurry.
My Lampi is still a good dac. Nothing really to complain about but thinking of moving on while it still has value. Lampizator does have a trade in program but jumping to the Atlantic is still a bit expensive even with trade in.
So, looking for any ex Lampi owners that have moved on and where too. Budget is $3k. DAC MUST be upgradeable easily and priced reasonably.
All and any advice appreciated.
