CDP Recommendations under $700

Im not sure if it matters a whole lot when it comes to CDP's but I aminly listen to prog rock and metal.

I' ve narrowed my short list down to:

Rotel 1072
Jolida JD100a
Rega Apollo

or if I suddenly dont feel like shelling out the cash for minimal sonic difference, a NAD 542.
