Fairchild 225-A or Ortofon ESL Mono Cartridge ?
Both are moving coil, and were among the best available when new and current.
Assuming both cartridges can be purchased for approximately the same price, and then rebuilt, which would be the better cartridge for playback of mono LPs ?
Criteria under 4g VTF, preferably under 3g.
Wide Bandwidth, at least flat to 15khz, 20khz would be better.
