I would like to buy a copy on CD.
Grateful Dead Record Store Day Release
Today I picked up the latest RSD release from the Grateful Dead, a show from Vancouver recorded in 1966.
Based on some other 60's era Dead live recordings, I had very low expectations for the sound quality of this one, so to my delight I was really pleased when I put it on for the first time.
The performance is a really good one despite a pretty passive audience. The sound quality is also very good. Much better than quite a few other releases from this era. The bass is a little boomy but considering how crisp the treble and mid range are, one can hardly complain.
Anyone else score this one?
