High Fidelity Cables CT-1designed by Rick Schultz

In December 2011,I wrote that High Fidelity cables led by cable designer Rick Schultz was putting together a new cable. The cable came to market as CT-1.The CT-1 has FINALLY made it into my system!I had obtained a version of the prototype that Rick had been working on.It blew my previous reference Genesis by Virtual Dynamics.I thought I had finally found my end with this cable. This prototype delivered to my ears "Nirvana".Could I be at the end of my quest for the ultimate sound?
No. I received two pairs of CT-1 to replace my prototypes. They went into the system this past Friday.Unable to dedicate time until Sunday listening,I stole a few moments, ducking away from company with anticipation. My guest could tell even with the music set for"ambiance"something was intriguing and I was in for a treat!
The experience:
First off,CT-1 was very user friendly.Installation was simple;the cable is very nice and light. The female RCA fit beautifully unlike any I had found in other cable. It was secure and reliable. It seemed much thought was dedicated to developing a designer fit to an aesthetically stunning RCA connector.Install entailed a few wiggles to ensure what seemed like a compression fit on my RCA.
It was 2-3 hrs. for the 1st step of break in to be complete. At that point I had something different!Today, although they only have 10-12 hrs. on them,I can`t put into words how much my system has transformed.Believe me,I loved my prototypes.However....there is simply no comparision.
The clarity and sound is so natural.
The soundstage is like nothing I ever heard.Resoulution is breathtaking and inner detail is simply hard to believe possible.
The sound has transended and now it simply does not seem as thought I have speakers.
My system is musicians playing music.
I am told with time they will improve and I trust that as it was revealed with the prototypes.I wanted to share my thoughts with you that now.
Unequivocally,a testament to High Fidelity,as the name declares.
High Fidelity Cables for me,the last word on it,after 12 hours!
Truly Amazing

Yep, the CT-1 interconnects are really unbelievable, it's like listening to the master recording, nothing between the source and speakers.

I'm playing older recordings that sound entirely musical, this never happened in all my years of listening.
Al and Bear, I'm using two pairs and one as a digital cable between the trans and dac, Rick is off the charts with these.
When a big name gets a listen, they'll most likely get the full recognition
they deserve, just a matter of time.
That tells me they are very well balanced across the spectrum when everything gets better, just passing the signal even more clean and quiet, wanted to hear some feedback, thanks.
A CT1-E Digital has now been in my system for 3 weeks and the audible results are stellar.

Every single note from front to back is completely fleshed out and the back drop between the notes is completely, utterly QUIET.

All my CD's sound like remasters and take on their individual recording characteristics like an LP.

The rest of the experience has to be heard to be believed, it's that good.
I had a golden ear friend that's real picky come over to hear the CT-1E's in my system, during the 2 hour audition he didn't say a word, he left shaking his head in disbelief and told everyone else!

I'll probably do the same hearing the Ultimates, unbelievable.
Being one of the first customers of the CT-1's,
I think Rick's cables are already changing the world, I'm trying to imagine what the enhanced or ultimate interconnects will do to me, not to mention his speaker cables!
Rick's new company is going to take off like a rocket ship.

I remember saying cables don't make much of a difference, ya right!
Calloway, congratulations on your acquisition of the finest sounding cables on the planet,
I know you must be listening in heaven.
Al,
I can't believe we're suffering(!) but I called Calloway last night and my thoughts were confirmed to what he's hearing, I guess it's time to start $aving, sheesh...............

I hope Rick doesn't come up with a "Super Ultra" enough is enough already!
Tbg,
Everyone I spoke to using these cables is universal, the best word to describe is "real"!
The "regular" CT-1s are equal to/better than Nordost Odins, at 1/10th the cost, so they still hold a very respective position regardless of the CT-E's or Ultras, quite an amazing testament to Rick's design.
I borrowed Odins for a couple weeks from a good friend, the results in my system spoke for themselves.
Hi Al,

If I were to put things in a %, I'd have to say approx. 30% overall improvement with the CT1-E's, nothing in particular mind you, the WHOLE spectrum is completely better, more of everything you already have with the original CT-1's (which are already killer)

Of course, this is my rig, room, ears, but Rick's cables seem to wrought the same benefits in various systems for end users.
Audiolabyrinth, you're welcome too.

Rick put the old "wire is just wire" cliché to sleep, it was the "hiding bottleneck"

It's something after my post back on 4-25-12 how this sky-rocketed to 30 pages and over 1500 posts.

The thing that struck me was how they work so well in almost every different system application.

I remember when Rick made the big move to Texas to start this new adventure in magnetics.

My first thought was it would be nearly impossible and take forever to prove any superiority in cable land.

Now after 2 short years he emerged as top dog contender, that takes courage and ingenuity.

Go High Fidelity :>)
Ddraudt, if Rick's new amp proves to be a sonic knockout, we'll really be in for a huge ear treat, can't wait to hear more on this.
7 years later to the cable game, two pair CT-2 rca's and a pair of MC 0.5s added, imaging excellent and very liquid sound, nice.

I noticed some folks changing from High Fidelity to Teo and now to Cerious, combining interconnects and speaker cables?

Thanks Pete, things are good with Mad Scientist digital rca, HF CT-2 inters and Western Electric 14ga solid core speaker.

The CT-2's and MC 0.5's been here 3 days, I might try a Pro much later.
Just installed, I’m refraining from being a fan-boy or kicking an anthill, some of these forums become a battlefield.
