As determined by the outcome, the master tape did not cause any problems for the original mastering, by Bernie Grundman, which is superior in texture and dynamic shading to the reissue.

Though that may not be a knock on the remastering itself; the master tape is now thirty plus years older and, unlike wine, analog tape does not get any better with age.

I assume this is vinyl you folks are discussing.....where is it available? Can I get a digital remastering?

It may not be as good as the original but it is quiet and it sounds great!
