My dealer got in a pair of the big Klipschorns and I listened to them. Big sound. kind of honking midbass. Old school speakers. great for hazy retro-dreaming the 1950's.
I am all clarity crazy.. So no Klipschorns in my future. Then the next step down, not bad either, also not my kind of speaker. The cheap mass market stuff? who cares.. Just because a company makes cheap mass market does not ruin the top end stuff.
