Linn question..

Recently picked up a pair of used Tukans. Seller failed to include oval shape link plates to  run single wire rather than biwire. One local Linn dealer has extremely limited biz hours, my work hours won't permit visiting them. Any idea where I can acquire to link plates? Thanks

You don't necessarily need plates. If the binding posts of the Tukans will support it, you can simply use a short section of speaker cable between the two positive posts and the two negative posts.

What type of binding posts are on the Tukans?

Tukans have very different kind of speaker terminals. Banana plugs only.

just make sure you don't unscrew all the rings at the same time, the positive and negative from left to right. They can drop into the speaker cabinet
It's a Little strange..my Monitor Silver 2 also has biwire capability, but you can just  plug one bass and one Tweeter across, diagonally, doesn't matter, and viola! You're good to go
Depending on the cost, etc, you can get speaker wires made with twin banana plugs at one (speaker) end and a single banana plug at the other (amplifier) end. I did this for Celestion SL700 and Rogers LS35a
Why wouldnt you bi wire them. Join your two +'s tovether and join 2 -'s together at the amp end. Better than using the plates any ways
