Looking for a good cartridge...

My favorites in this price range are the Ortofon OM-10, for a brighter sound, which can be upgraded to the better Ortofon models for only the cost of the replacement stylus, and the Shure M97xE, which is a bit darker, both at the top of your price range, can be had at www.jacksmusicfactory.com, shipping is ususally included in their prices.

Grados are good value for the money. You can see some at www.audioadvisor.com The least expensive ones are in the $40-$60 range.
