Looking for a good Integrated Amp for my Nola Boxers

price would be no more than $1200 new or used.  I have a Aaron "5555" Anniversary integrated (50w) from the late 90's that I purchased from a fellow Audiogoner years ago.  It sounds good but I'm looking for something thats a little more resolving and transparent.  a little more power would be nice also. would like to stay with ss. thanks for any insight!

I'm using a Simaudio I-5 with a pair of Boxers and really like the combination. Mine is the LE version but I've also owned the standard version and it's a beautiful sounding, exceptionally well-built amp with excellent ergonomics. There's one available in the classifieds listings here now, not mine, and within your budget.

Nice speakers.  And thanks for giving your budget and preference for solid state.  This helps in getting meaningful answers.

Based on your requirements, I second sfar's suggestion of a good used Simaudio I-5.  If you want a new amp though, consider either the Marantz PM8005 or Creek Evo 50A that are exactly at your budget.  Also, consider the Musical Fidelity M3si if you can up your budget a bit.  Any of these will do a fine job with your speakers.

There's a nice Yamaha A-S2000 for sale here now that gets very nice comments here and well within your budget.  Best of luck.
