Magnepan 3.7R's Jumpers and Resistors

I'd like recommendations on mid-range and tweeter jumpers for the 3.7's, and also on use of attenuators for the ribbon tweeters. I'm currently using the stock jumpers on the midrange, and the supplied 1 ohm resistor on the ribbon, since Magnepan only supplies one set of jumpers. I currently do not experience excessive brightness, and will consider replacing the 1 ohm resistor with a jumper or a lower value higher quality resistor. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience and opinions.

"since Magnepan only supplies one set of jumpers". Forgot to mention, there should be two sets of jumpers.
Hasse,
Thanks. I thought I might have been shorted a pair of jumpers, but I also thought that might have been on purpose to insure that everyone started out using the 1 ohm resistors on the tweeters. I will see if I can get the dealer to obtain a second pair for me. Ultimately, I want something better anyway. Using the resistor was ok at first, but as the bass panels begin to open up, the attenuation of the upper octaves is beginning so sound just a bit too polite, so I'm going to want to get those resistors out before much longer.
Duelund Cast (1 ohm) in tweeter..and cardas jumper on mid.

been with this setup since day one, except had Mills originally as the 1 ohm tweeter attenuator.
First thing out of way" ZOMBIE THREAD ALERT" Yes I too have resurrected a dead thread due to Googling "Magnepan midrange resistor",
Anyway, just started playing with the midrange resistor in my 20.7 Magnepan speakers. Added the stock OEM 1.0 ohm in. Results better than I thought would happen. So naturally I went and immediately ordered Mundorf film resistors 10 watt, in 0.33, 0.68, 1.0, 1.5, 2.2 ohms from Madisound. Got them in the mail today, and cleaned the leads on the 0.68, 1.0 and 1.5 sets.
Stuck in the 0.68 for starters. Better touch to he higher midrange frequencies.than stock resistor right off. Sweeter is the word. Not really commenting on the sound intil the resistors break in. (I put them in like twenty minutes ago)Anyone else with bigger Maggies play with the resistors you can add in?
I have cut speaker cable or 12 guage zip and used it for jumpers also solid copper available in hardware stores. Have to say I don’t hear much difference. Also tried 1.5, and 2 ohm resistors and found they dulled the sound to much.
After the 0.68 I went to the one ohm. Heavier, in fact too dark. This Morning I stuck in the 0.33 ohm. Brighter than the 0.68.Seems to be the pattern.
More resistance the darker the sound. less resistance brighter. My whole reason for adding is seems too bright a balance with no resistor. trying to find the Golden Mean for the balance..I can make a 0.50 ohm with parallel one ohm resistors. I may try that next.
