I heard through the grapevine the 1991 remastered MERCURY Living Presence CDs were in reverse Polarity and am planning a test soon to find out if that’s true. I bought the second remastered Mercury Living Presence box set about 5 years ago but have still not listened to any of them.

I’m considering purchasing the Mercury Living Presence Box Set.
I’m currently listening to 1991 CD Remasters on Audio Research
electronics driving Magneplanars. The quality of the original master
recording made in the 1960’s is amazing. The 1991 CD releases
are some of my favorite recordings. Smooth, dynamic and never
digital sounding.
Has anyone here who owns the 1991 releases purchased the new
2013 Abbey Road remasters. I’d be interested in knowing how they
compare to the excellent 1991 remasters.
Also is there somewhere I can purchase the set at a discount,
Amazon wants a fortune for them.
One more thing. Is there a list somewhere of the contents of
the three boxed sets.
