Merlin TSM MMM to MMM BME

I recieved a pair of TSM MMM off of Audiogon that I like Very much. I was wondering if anyone has upgraded this version to the BME and if the upgrade was worthwhile and what your findings were. I can't find much info on this specific upgrade. Also I am pushing with tubes. If not going SS would this upgrade be worth it?

Mofojo...Bobby (Palkovich) just passed away a couple of
weeks ago. I think Merlin is probably done as a company, so
the upgrade might not be available.

Good luck on this one. "Mr. Merlin" passed away recently and company may have died with him.

I did hear about Bobby's unfortunate passing and yes it appears at least for now Merlin is not taking on any new work. I have a lead on a dealer who may be able to do the upgrade if the consensus is that it is worthwhile.
