MPDeluxe app with iOS 11

I use an app called MPDeluxe (an MPD app) on my iPhone with iOS 8 to select and play music from my Bryston BDP-1 digital player. I am reluctant to update to iOS 11 unless I know this app will still work. Does anyone know? The developer provides no way to contact them for support.
