Cool thanks for the post, I've been a Dave Alvin fan for years. The Blasters and his stuff with The Guilty Men are all great. If you've never heard the live release "Out in California" Dave Alvin and the Guilty Men it's fantastic.

Not certain how many/any here would be interested in this, but I got a new CD yesterday, playing it at the moment, and it exceeds what I thought it might be by such an extent that I thought it worth saying so here. Its Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Dave Alvin, called Downey to Lubbock, and truly a highlight of the year so far for me. Beautiful music, beautiful voices, beautiful sounding, just a charm.
