I have no hands-on experience with this Yamaha model but had terrible experiences with the Yamaha S1500 universal player. The dealer I purchased it from later told me when I decided to spend a little more and buy a Pioneer DV79AVi that Yamaha makes great home theater receivers but forget about their dvd players. Go with the Denon or the above mentioned Pioneer.
New Yamaha S2700? Almost as good as 2930CI ??
I have a Denon 2930CI but I noticed the new Yamaha S2700 and it looked spectacular. My Home Theatre is Yamaha it would be nice to work everything from one remote and have everything lit in orange. Has anyone seen reviews of the S2700? Is it as good or *gasp* better that the Denon 2930CI for video quality???
