1. Power supplies that are not the same size or finish as the preamp. Who decided this was a good idea?

People who complain about free speech, oh yeah......... and Bruce Springsteen.
Here is a new peeve,
Why do we answer the same questions over and over and over?, nobody does a search anymore...its out of hand.
Anyone who says "If you are looking at this ad then you already know"....know what?.....that your an Ahole?
Many...MANY Audiophiles, what a scary bunch we can be!, its like a nerd and a school bully morfed into one huge idiot.
Insane prices
Tweaks like pet rocks, phone calls, and clocks.
Taking time to ask or answer a serious post about something you need to learn or feel you have to offer others and it doesnt post, for no reason and no explanation.
Sellers who post an ad, you ask a question, they reply and you say no thanks for whatever reason.....but they think just by responding to the ad was an agreement to purchase.
People who participate in threads to bash folks who participate in threads............huh?
What I dont care for are people who contact you to sell you something based on reading what you post in private, like trolling for a sale....I dont agree with it and some times it may actually be a breach of dealer network agreements.
Another silly peeve, when your in a store and listening to music conversation or something triggers a thought of a song or performance you want to hear and didnt bring, many stores have hundreds of disc's and albums scatered about but in a big pile or in several piles.....I just wish they were in order.
I guess I am just a bitter miserable jaded Audiophoole, plus I have too much time on my hands :)
I dont leave or ask for feedback on many transactions, if it is left I will respond in kind but it doesnt mean much after you get 10 or so under your belt. Bottom line is if someone wants to sell something, they will with a email or a phone call for confidence so it has some value but not much, how can it if you cant leave bad feedback?
Bashing Bose (wdich I am a bit guilty of aswell) just seems too simple and an easy target that requires no thought or wit, like comparing Nickleback to Pink Floyd, it just has no merit or proper context. As long as people explore, listen and purchase music, who is anyone to judge...it is about enjoying music right?
I know the search need work but you have to admit there are a huge number of folks who dont even try to search an answer, the site and the web in general has such a wealth of knowledge its a shame many dont take advantage of it.
Isnt some rule about that in the list of do and dont's about Audiogon? Yet many postings about new and relevant items go poof! Weekly
No doubt Bill, it seems lately there are some high priced garbage lisitng and "HotStamper" is in heavy rotation, I wonder if its one big offender or a few idiots......they dont appear to sell which is a bit of justice.
That guy has the most amazing luck, he always seems to have "Hot Stampers"....... but I dont see his stuff flying off the shelf so it looks like most are too smart to play that game.
The only thing more pathetic then the seller in question is the poor guys who believe and pay him.
