Phono Stage Opinions

I have an Audio Research LS 7 Preamp also a Technics SA 300 Receiver.
I tried the receiver phono stage on the AR preamp and it sounds decent.
Should I purchase an inexpensive phono stage or use this one ?

I also use other preamps just for the phono stage. Works just fine.For my Kuzma Stabi/Sogi S I use an Audio Research Sp-15, for the Rega P5 I use an Audible Illusions 3A. MY main preamp is Bryston BP-26.                  
If you like the sound, there is no need to change anything.
