Proceed AVP2 DAC vs. Mark Levinson 360S DAC

I am using a proceed AVP2 as my DAC for stereo music. I have a Meridian 508.24 CD Player (Transport). I also stream lossless audio files with Apple Itunes using an Airport Express, I can control the volume on my computer through Itunes. The Proceed AVP2 DAC sounds good when I listen to stereo music. I came across a good deal on a used Mark Levinson 360S. I believe it uses the SHARC DSP chip that are also used in the Proceed AVP2. If I were to transport the digital signal into the 360S to a preamp or even directly to the amp will I notice better performance in music compared to the Proceed AVP2? Has anyone had the chance to compare? Thanks
