Roomsize for Avalon eidolon or opus ceramic

Foghost, in a former home, my Eidolons sounded just fine in a room of about the same volume as yours. The challenge for me was pulling them far enough out from the front wall and the side walls for smoothest response and best sound staging. As long as you're willing to commit to doing that, I think you'll get good results. To my ear, the Eidolon is a more satisfactory speaker than the Opus and well worth any additional positioning challenges.

Your room size is good for Avalon Eidolon.
I have approximately the same dimensions (7.2m including 2m of a corridor behind and a ceiling of 2.4m). There are thick curtains behind Avalons and 2mx3m carpet on a floor.

Eidolon can fill much bigger space but I'm sure it will work well for you. The rest of the gear: amp, preamp, cable and furniture in your room will play their role too of cause.
