If CD is truly your only source, then consider not getting an integrated, but going with a CD player with its own volume control (Wadia, Resolution Audio, etc.) Your system would consist of the CD, a power amp and your speakers.
Starting over
I recently sold my Counterpoint amp and Audio Research pre. The total $5000 will mature from a CD next month. I get to start over, but want to scale down. I need some opinions on an integrated amps 100watts min or a seperate package same manufacturer. I listen to two channel with cd source only.
