I re-foamed my old Boston A40s a while back and they are more awesome than ever in that the stuff I have feeding them is also more awesome than what I had years ago.
Thoughts of Boston Acoustic VR 950
Hello all,
Anyone have opinions on Boston Acoustic/Linn VR950's ?
I have had these for years along with a HSU SUb.
I love the sound. I have demoed other speaker brands such as Totem and Dyn Audio and although I heard some improvements, they were very little.
I find this curious since there is about zero discussion on line about the VR950's, and if they apparently compete with these other speakers, why no talk? Is there a stigma? Something I am missing?
Speaker changes more than anything I fear. The problems in shipping after a demo are my main frustration. So, I don't want to go through that unless there is a good reason like....."These Elac Towers are 680% better than those Bostons."
Any thoughts or opinions please.
