To all of you engineers out there-and others...


I'm considering on building a couple of  sound diffusers without any back.  It will be based on a quadratic diffuser, QRD-11, with different depth wells and all-just no back.  I have some bass absorber panels on my rear wall and I was thinking of hanging them in front of the bass panels.  They will have a full enclosed frame-just no back.  I think I may have gone too far, as far as bass absorption.  Please give me your

you might want to run REW and see about the bass, etc.
Randy-11: The diffuser will have a main frame, different depth wells attached to the top and bottom of the frame, as well as the sides, but no main back. It will be open in the back.
