TRL DUDE question

Can anyone share this with me--is the DUDE wired in phase or out of phase?   Having had a pair of Audible Illusion preamps prior, they were both out of phase so you had to switch the speaker cables at either the amp end or the speaker end by hooking up the red to the black post and vise versa while keeping red to red at the other component.  Any knowledge gained here would be appreciated.
