I used a Modwright 9.0SE with Paradigm Studio 100s V3 for a couple of years....VERY happy with the sound. The unit uses two 5687s and tube rolling gives you many options. You should be able to pick up a used Modwright (basic edition with remote) for under $1200. It has a Home Theatre Bypass Loop.

i have all studio series in dedicated home theater with anthem processor and anthem amps and want to make 2 chanel music sound better with a seperate pre amp was wanting tubes but never had with paradigm speakers kind of new to hifi game and want some advice and best way to connect seperate pre to home theater setup thanks
