I agree that if you are searching for the BEST fidelity use the same brand and model. Different brands or models may yield very good results but in obtaining the best sound use matched models.
Usijng two different subwoofers
I would like to add another subwoofer to my system. I currently own a B&W ASW 850 15" model. They are no longer made. Could I use another brand, such as the Velodyne DD15 15" with great results in my system, depsite being a different brand? They are both acoustic suspension and I use the SMS-1 on the B&W already.
