Using universal remote control with Line Magnetic amp

Hi,
has anyone tried or managed to use universal remote control with Line Magnetic amps?
Thanks!

I can't say about your specific amp. However, if it was capable of using a remote originally then go to the Logitech Harmony web site and check their database for components it will control.

I have one of their remotes for my AR LS-16 pre-amp and it works but only on a limited number of functions. It will not change input sources.
Thank you, n80.
Will check with Logitech. Problem is I managed to misplace the LM-remote, can't find it at all, so have to look at alternatives
Seems like I require a USC code. I don't know if this code is totally unique to each device, but if not, will someone be willing to share theirs? Please...
I have the LM 518ia
Some remotes have a learning function, point at each other and it will pick up what is needed
Thank you, truemaineiac. Problem is the Line Magnetic remote is missing.
Line Magnetic devices are not listed on the Logitech database. But, apparently there is a USC code if you remove the cover on the remote.
If you are in the States might be best to just contact Jeff Halpern at Tone Imports (US distributor) and ask him if he can get you one
Thank you for your replies.
I am in South Africa. I imported the amp from Cattylink 2 years ago and they don't seem to exist anymore. I never regretted using them, btw. Got the amp for $2100 shipping included, great service, and the salesman, a mr. Lee, sent me some of his personal used valves (the small ones) for a bit of rolling. The amp is driving Westminster Royal SEs, and I couldn't be happier.

Anyway, I finally found the LM agents here. Thanks for your suggestions.

I have a LM 518ia with remote. Inside the remote the board has the following:

LM-YK-IA, PCB
VER: A
2010-04-20

Hope this helps
Outside the unit on it’s face it has the following:

Line Magnetic
Remote Control Unit
LM-02
Thank you for your effort, ekimg. I will pass the codes on to the LM agents here in South Africa (I cannot make sense out of them myself).Otherwise I will just have to order a new one - but one'd expect that it would be possible to use a universal remote on LM components, I'm sure.
Good luck. In case you forgot the remote only has volume up/down and mute. No other functions.
