Verity Audio midrange drivers?

I owned as pair of Rienzi speakers for a year or so. Without a doubt, the best sounding speaker that I've ever owned and I've owned some good ones. I have recently spoken to 2 Verity dealers and both told me that they don't like the poplypropolene midrange driver that is in the Rienzi and they both prefer the Finn to the Rienzi. I did get a listen to the Finn and while I thought it sounded really good, I don't think it was as good as the Rienzi. If you can afford the Parsifals, get them. If it's a stretch, then I would recommend the Rienzi. Verity speakers are amazing. Good luck.

I never had the opportunity to audition the Rienzis, but I did hear the Finns and the Parsifal Ovations. The Finns had me wanting to hear more, but the Parsifals took my breath away - and so I bought them. I am writing this while listening to them.

I've listened to the Finn, Rienzi and Parsifal Encore all on the same modest system. The Parsifal Encore is clearly the best of the 3, but the Rienzi is very very good and not too far off IMHO. The Finn, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have the same "house sound" as the other 2 - it's a bit thin & bright with the same solid state equipment (Ayre AX7e integrated) that makes the Parsifal and Rienzi sing. IMHO, the Rienzi is the first Verity that "gets it", at least in the system I listened to.
