What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report

I enjoy vinyl and digital (lately, with recent changes, vinyl actually sounds better than digital to me), BUT given what seems an overall preference for analog/vinyl on A'gon, I'm curious what the non-vinyl "1/2" is listening to. I tried to see if this was a previously posted question. Did not seem so.

This evening for me, it's Genesis (definitive edition remaster) "A Trick of the Tail".

Haven't touched my player in quite a while. I'm a music server guy mostly these days, with vinyl listening tossed in as well from time to time.

Tonight I will be queuing up some Flaming Lips. Not sure which one quite yet.
Haven't used CD player on my system in years....I'm a music server kinda guy. On many nights, when I am too tired to choose, I put it on random track play and let it decide what I hear next. I call it "Mapman Radio". Best variety of music I've heard on radio since the glory days of FM. And it's all very hifi and of my choosing....
Stationary Traveller by Camel...simply awesome.

Shubert, this is one you should give a listen to.

I spend a lot of time listening that way. It's a good way to become more familiar with all your music. Like programming your own personal radio station. I learned to like a lot of music listening to the radio. Does not work as well for concept albums or multiparty classical. I find I listen with less preconception when I do not have to choose what to listen to. New CDs get ripped up front then stored. I might not hear something I added new for a bit. It's a great way to discover new music. Call it "Mapman radio".
