@n80: I hear ya. I just wish they hadn't compressed the crap out of it; for shame Geoff Emerick! And, aren't Wings really just Paul solo albums in disguise?  My favorite Paul album is still Ram, and I just wish that he had extended the first section of Uncle Albert and done away with that stupid Admiral Halsey section, to me it's always been goofy, Yellow Submarine stuff, and ruined an otherwise perfectly good song. I mean, "butterpie?"

Also, Another Day was a good single.
@stevecham : Wings never had too many songs I cared for but "Rock Show" is one of my favorites and sounds good loud.
Rosanne Cash's, "The List."
Mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound. Well worth hunting up.
In Through The Out Door - Led Zeppelin. Pretty much all the work of John Paul Jones. And his mark is all over it in a way not seen on any of the other Zep albums.

Not a bad album but again, more Jones than LZ.

I'm listening to the second copy I bought in high school. The first one got scratched and it skipped (still have it) and I loved it so much I bought a second copy. The second copy is in okay shape. Gave it a good wash tonight but a few clicks and pops remain.

The vinyl is as thin as paper. Amazing how chintzy they were in the 80s.
Deep Purple - When we rock, we rock and when we roll, we roll.  Picked up a nice used copy for 4 bucks.  Allmusic only gave this compilation 2.5 stars, but I think it was mostly because of the goofy name.  Sounded great to me!
Jackson Browne is SUCH a great songwriter, and has always had a superb band. @udog, MFSL is Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs, the album reissue (LP, SACD) company.
Slaw. The Pretender is a masterpiece. What’s the MFSL stand for?  Hope it’s clean.
Ive got my Leonard Cohen collection playing through my Blusound vault. I’m Your Man tests my subwoofer. Great stuff
There’s just something about the (blues). It comes from the gut and speaks to the heart. How 4 young white guys capture this and express it so vividly, is amazing! This Ten Years After lp has instantly moved to/in my top 5 debut lps of all time.
I've had a hit/miss relationship with Sundazed. However, the TYA is a major hit! Highly recommended.
Picked up a nice used copy of Toys in the Attic at the record store this afternoon, along with a few other things.
