Mlg, a full review is in order once you receive them. Also, I would be interested in the sonic difference between the Lore's with your current cables and with the new cables. I think the gloss white will look great. I would not worry about resale value too much. I'm sure if people keep buying the lores up, they may jump a bit in price but, stay well below the Omens. My business got so busy, I had to raise prices to keep up with demand.

I found this interesting, maybe it's been seen here before. VIDEO Also, what is cost for a finish upgrade? |
I'm curious if the ZU's are $500 better sounding (which is personal taste of course) than the Lore's. At $1500, you are getting close to XQ KEF series (I know, a different type of speaker). My thought process works like this, are the omen's $1500 speakers, that were offered for $999 or are they $999 speakers they are able to sell for $1500. It doesn't matter if they sound good to you. But, since I cannot try them both locally (I know both have great return policy), it makes sense to try the Lore's first. I wish more people who have heard both would chime in |
Really sad politics entered here. You watch the news....politics, listen to espn....politics, you look at Facebook..politics..you pay $75 for a concert ticket...politics....now..audiogon. Can we ever escape? I find the people who are extra touchy about politics really have an esteem issue. We were at a wedding and were seated with an out of town guest (we did not know) from Washington DC. We were talking about flying into "Reagan" (Washington national Airport name) to see my Brother during the Ford funeral (lots of delays). The woman placed her hands over her ears and said if I hear that name again I will leave this conversation!! At first, I thought she was joking....nope. She was serious. She stated she never wants to hear that name again. I mean...c'mon.....let's be adults here. |
