Quietest amplifier you have ever owned.

I hate it when I'm sitting in the listening chair with no music playing and you can hear the sound of the amplifier coming through the speakers. I was curious what the quietest amps out there might be. One example I can think of would be the Antique Sound Labs MG-SI15DT integrated amplilfier. With the amp on and no music playing I can put my ear right up to the speaker and hear nothing but dead silence. This is probably the quietest amp I have ever had and it probably has something to do with it's single-ended design.

Manley Stingray - at full volume I had to be 8 inches away from the speaker to hear anything at all.
S7horton - I thought about that also but I don't think it's the source because I have another integrated tube amp and I can hear it from my listening chair with no music playing. I am using the same exact CD player as I use with the Antique Sound Labs MG-SI15DT integrated amplifier.
My Krell PB200 is completely silent at full volume and my ear on the grill. If you have noise you could have a ground loop issue, or a source problem. Check you connects, you may find your "noise".
BAT-VK500 dead quiet, I can have me ears right in front(or behind) the panel and hear nothing, the most dead silent amp I have ever heard.
