which not too expensive amp for Maggie 1.7 ?

The Ice H2O S-100 amp is made to drive speakers like the Maggie's. Don't know if $1995 NEW is in your budget!!

Used Forte 4a 100 watts channel at 4 ohms. About $600 to $700 used. Remember it is a 20 year old amp so may need new caps or have had caps replaced.
Excellent. My owned since new Forte 4a can drive my Magnepan 3.6's just fine. (though I bought a Bryston 4B-SST2 for them, so my Forte just sits..)
The Forte4a is mosly class A so it is a small space heater of an amp. but it sound is noted to be very fine.

I had a first look to the Wyred...
the STI 1000 would permit to save money (2 power cables + 1 interconnect less)

any other suggestion ?
