Replacing the speakers link with silver wire

I think that it's a good idea, and while you are at it you might take a page out of the Naim bible and try hooking your speaker cables with the positive leg to the + tweeter terminal and the negative leg to the - woofer terminal. Works for me.

I use Audioquest "Biwire Jumpers".  They come as high purity copper (PSC)  gold or silver plated.

I have experimented with silver cables, I find I actually prefer copper.
