Subwoofer wiring for Audessy EQ, advice needed

Hello all,
I have a Marantz Av 8003 and a JL Audio fathom F110.
I currently have the SW connected to my AVP via a Wireworld oasis xlr connector. If I get another Subwoofer Should I a Y interconnect or a single xlr and run it slave mode. How would either scenario effect the use of the EQ?

As long as both subs are connected to the same output on the processor...and both are powered on when Audyssey is tuned, you'll be OK with either wiring scheme.

Thanks ! would there be any advantages outside of the EQ doing it one way or another ?
