Anyone listen to the new audio physics Kodex speaker?

Audio physics Codex speaker opinions

I don't know if you can fix your thread title, but they are spelled "Codex."

Anyway, I've been quite interested in the Codex.  I've always loved audio physic speakers, have owned them before.   A local place has AP speakers and I went to listen to the Codex.   However they had the smaller Avanti set up so I listened to those first (and ran out of time before I could hear the Codex).

The Avantis have the classic AP sound, though updated and even more neutral - soundstaging like few speakers I know,  effortlessly detailed, almost lean sounding but not quite.  Believable tonality.  The bass seemed well controlled as I remember it (though the 6 moons review mentioned a slight overwarmth in the bass).

I've been meaning to listen to the Codex.  The main thing making me hesitate is the price of the Codex, and their size.  I'm looking at possibly replacing large floor standers with something smaller, and the Codex are about as big as the ones I'm trying to replace.
Are they under $20,000??.   AP is noted for its grossly inflated retails prices which usually run far ahead of the performance of their speakers
sunnyjim,

The same could be said about many if not most high end audio products.

The Codex are under $20,000.  The Avanti certainly sounded competitive with numerous offerings I heard around the same price or more.  FWIW, the 6 Moons review of the Codex essentially described the Codex as an amazing speaker, doing essentially all one could ask for in terms of SOTA or near-SOTA in most categories, all in one smaller-sized, beautiful looking design.
