ROGAINE - Have you noted improved hearing with use?

I know every neurosurgeon and most MDs will swear that Rogaine cannot possibly improve hearing because while the inner ear structures may be hair like structures, they are not hair and cannot be growth stimulated. And I do agree. But... I do believe Rogaine may improve blood circulation in the inner ear and some recent research indicates lower inner ear circulation is one possible cause of poor hearing.

At Audiofest a few years ago I occasionally noted someone next to me could hear the same things I could. Things like a midrange without stereo image suggesting the midrange speakers were wired out-of-phase. And then I would ask if they used Rogaine and wow -- they did.

So, no I don't sell or work anywhere near the supplement or drug industry. But when I quit using this stuff my hearing goes flat and I can't hear crap. So, after using for about a month, my hearing dramatically improves. A friend of mine builds audio wires and he was discussing some hollow, highly polished copper speaker wires he had developed. He was astonished when I commented that I heard them at another mutual friends house but didn't like them because of the high frequency ringing they appear to cause. He was astonished because he thought it was only via oscilloscope that this phenomenon could be seen.

Anyway, I just thought a few adventuresome audiophiles might want to try this, and no, you don't put the product in your ears, just use as directed and put on your scalp. And if anyone has had a similar experience, please chime in.

That is an almost amazing concept, but I don't allow any hair in or around my ears. Bill
I once made the mistake of confusing Rogaine with Viagra. I woke up with hair that looked like Don King's.

That amazing. I had the same issue sorta in reverse as I woke up with stiff, straight hair that was a lot thicker than normal.
