Muddy Waters Folk Singer LP

One of my favorite records.  I have the Mobile Fidelity LP.  Has anyone compared the MoFi version to the Analog Productions 45rpm version?

Sorry fellas..I have the HDAD silver disc.the 24/192 transfer through a tube amp has EVERYTHING the vinyl has without snap-crackle & pop along for the ride..Master tape hiss is clearly audible without cartridge/surface  noise.
Freediver, Indeed!  I have the MoFi pressing and the DSD download.  Both are phenomenal.  The recording is the business, and it is a fantastic one.

generalizations about vinyl noise are no more valid than sterility about digital. both are not inherent in the formats, but signs of less than optimal execution. do you have the vinyl of this recording that actually has snap-crackle & pop?

i have the digital versions too; they are excellent I agree.....but not in the territory of the analog with this particular tape sourced recording. i can love and appreciate the digital, and still acknowledge the analog advantage when it's there.

Well said, I hearfully agree. I also value both digital and vinyl, almost equally (with a small lean towards vinyl).

Have you had had the pleasure of comparing the MoFi to the Analogue Productions version?

hi Mark,

yes, see the first response above. and it was, as you say, a pleasure.
