Replacing fuse

Did you check with the manufacturer of the equipment you are wanting to use the 8 amp fuse in, in place of the 6.3 amp fuse? Want to bet what he/she says? My bets on don’t do it! Like I said in my last post the designer/manufacturer has already sized the fused for the maximum allowable amperage protection for the equipment.

Thanks for all the input.As for the 30 day guarantee by the time you have fuses burned in enough to clearly hear a difference good or bad the grace period would probably be voided and be stuck with a fuse that wasn't a good match for the amp.
