Little-known Gems

Looking through my secondary CD collection, I re-discovered "The Butts Band", formed by John Densmore and Robby Krieger of "The Doors".  Their first album (eponymous) is straight-ahead, sit-at-the-bar stuff that brings a good feeling from way back.

In Saint Louis there is a Classic Rock station, KSHE 95, that has a Sunday morning show from 8-12am that plays really classic rock. They play a couple, three Butts Band tunes.  Baja Bus are Be With Me are two I remember.

Great tunes.

Listened to Butts Band - "Hear and Now" tonight. Didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first album. Probably won't be re-visiting this one.....
