Is a better bang for money? Looking for a transparent and detailed sound. Please feel free to suggest cartridge as well.

Unipivots are not for everyone. VPI tables can be purchased with a VPI Gimbal tonearm as an alternative to the Unipivot.

I had a Scout for 15 years and a Prime for 1 1/2 years and neither myself or my wife could get used to the unipivot arms. I no longer have either.
