Ordered Magico S5 MK II traded S5 MK I - Thoughts - Feedback - Anyone here them?

There are no local ones to hear and I loved my Magico S5 MK I so I went for it and ordered them.

Traded my S5 MK I and a few other items. Ordered from Scott Walker Audio in Anaheim CA. They are awesome.

Would love all feedback, idea’s criticism etc.

Some have said they are way better others said only a little difference. The change cost an awful lot so hopefully they are good. They are about 4 weeks out and wanted to ask you guys thoughts. Sorry for the hear/here typo :)

Thank you

If Scott Walker Audio is a Magico dealer, why don't they have a pair to demonstrate?
Thanks  maritime51
I have been working on it slowly for a decade or so. Thanks for the kindness.

Thanks for the response. All the local to me Magico dealers have the new new insanely good M3's or M6's and the last thing I want to do is hear those monsters and ruin my audio happiness. They also have new and very good sounding A series but no local S5 MK II.

Scott Walker Audio is a great Magico dealer but to be fair to them they are in Anaheim, CA and I am on the North Shore of Boston, MA,

With a shipping weight of around 300 lbs a pop just not realistic to ask them to send me a pair to demo. I guess maybe I should have asked but I didn't think that would be fair to them but probably should have asked I guess...lol

They have been fantastic to work with. They went the extra mile to help make the deal work for me and took multiple trade in's and my salesman Josh has been great. It's a semi complex deal with me shipping my trade gear out there and them having to order me new ones and they have set up all the shipping of my gear to them at strong fully insured discounted shipping rates and they gave me prices on the speakers and my trades to work within what i was trying to accomplish.

Best dealer experience I have ever had with any purchase. My post was not meant to gush about Scott Walker Audio but honestly they have been nothing less than fantastic and made for me is a significant purchase a smooth and pleasant experience.
Ah, I see fsmithjack. I was assuming you were local to Scott Walker. I guess that's not the way things work anymore!
Congrats @fsmithjack -- having just swapped up from Q3 to M3 (again without having heard the Ms in my system) I know how comfortable you can get trusting that a move up the ladder will work for you -- I'm sure the MkIIs will be a delight

Agree on Scott Walker but I will say that one plus of working with a local dealer is that they will handle the installation -- getting 350lb speakers out of their crates and into place is not a one man job and their is an art to how Magico pack and deliver their kit
