Converting cd's to high resolution audio

All my music is on cd's and my reading tells me that the cd itself has a limited shelf life and will degrade over time.
Any recommendations about converting my cd's to FLAC or some type of high quality music files. Not looking for
compressed files.
I see products such as the Blue Sound Music Vault and a Sony High Resolution Music Player.
Does anybody have any thoughts about how to accomplish this goal?

Thank you.

Absolutely! basement.Excellent points all around on the whole data extraction from a CD/SACD thing. If we are not "there" yet, as far as, player/dac(s) giving us the best sound? Manufacturers are getting pretty damn close.Happy Listening!

In order to convert CD to audio, you need drm audio converter mac, it can rip the cd to common mp3 so that you can enjoy them any where.
There are some folks saying you can't get more than what is there, on a CD.
And others saying you can 'get more' than what folks have been able to get up to this point from a CD. The two statements are not the same.
Just like an LP played on a $500 TT with a $40 cartridge have 'less' information than the same LP played on a $100,000 TT and a $12,000 properly aligned cartridge etc.. And then seems to have more information. To date all the information available from a CD has not been used. And it is clear some folks think that was all there was. there IS a lot more in those bits that can be brought to life.
