RIP Mark Hollis of Talk Talk

RIP Mark Hollis of Talk Talk at 64.
I bought The Color of Spring when it came out after it garnered top reviews. Analog recording, it sounds awesome with excellent song writing. I used play it up real loud on huge PA speakers and successfully charmed a girl I fancied while we danced to it. Fond affections. Off now to spin the 12" remix.

True genius. When I was teenager, a Tower Records employee recommended Laughing Stock, so I bought on a whim. Completely changed my outlook, and taste of music.

His albums will be cherished by many forever.

That is way too soon.  I had read a rumor he was working on something new.  I just played Colour of Spring from a remastered set the other day.  Still sounds great.  I always thought they'd be able to do one more in the Spirit of Eden style.
